There are many ways you can enjoy your superfood powder. Putting the powder into freshly squeezed juice or coconut water instead of plain water is an option, as is using the powders in a smoothie. Other options include sprinkling aย Red Shotย over muesli andโฏyoghurt, adding a scoop of Red Shot to a hot cup of water as a โhot toddyโ, orโฏadding aย Red Shotย to the water bottle for a gym workout. While our products are gluten free, we would still recommend those with a wheat intolerance avoid the Green Shot and Double Shot. Our Red Shot will be fine to take.
Yes, ourย shots are keto-friendly! For those following a ketogenic diet, the recommended daily intake of carbohydrates is around 50 grams. One Double Shot serving contains only 3.8 grams of total carbohydrates and just 0.9 grams of net carbohydrates (total carbohydrates minus dietary fibre). Additionally, ourย shots contain no added sugar and are made with all-natural ingredients, free from artificial additives or preservatives.ย
Antioxidants like Vitamin C help protect our cells by fighting free radicals whichย can contribute to ageing. Leafy greens and berries are a great source of antioxidants. Yes our product is suitable for children at a lower dosage. Children or those underย 50kgs should take HALF a serving of Red Shot, Green Shot or Double Shot, unless advised by a health care practitioner.ย
The Red Shot ingredientsย are โhygroscopicโ, which means that it attracts moisture from the atmosphere which can cause clumping. It does not make the product โstaleโ or detract from its effectiveness in any way. To ensure you avoid clumping, we recommend keeping your Red Shot in its pouch and properly sealed, or in an air-tight container.
No. Our ingredients are 100% natural, which means that it is the whole plant gently dried and powdered. There are no artificial ingredients, sweeteners, preservative or additives in our superfood powders.
The powder will last for 12 months within a sealed pouch. Once opened they are best consumed within 30 days. The 900g Double Shot Family Pack is best consumed within 60 days of opening.
No they are not. Any sweetness in our powders is naturally derived from the plant itself. We do not add sugar or other sweeteners such as Stevia to our powders.

Our products are 100% natural plant-based wholefoods, which are suitable for vegans.
We believe that nutrients are more effective when consumed in their natural groupings and ratios. Our superfood powders are a combination of the whole fruits or plants that have been dried whole to remove the water and maintain as much as possible the normal ratios of all the other components. We have not removed fibre or other components, and ensure the drying and milling is gentle to help preserve the nutritional quality. Many products on the market are extracts. They take a particular nutrient that is linked to a health benefit and extract and concentrate it while removing the fibre and other nutrients from the food. Our wholefood plant powders are not extracts.
All our ingredients are grown in New Zealand. Our green pea, broccoli sprout, and organic wheat leaf (wheat grass), barley leaf, and spearmint leaf are grown in the low-lying Canterbury plains, where the soil is rich and naturally fertilised. Organic manuka leaf is harvested wild in Bay of Plenty. Organic blackcurrants are grown in the fertile plains of Pleasant Point and boysenberries are grown in the sunshine of Nelson.
